Problem:

Soul machines required a stand-in 3D Scan Director + Team lead for a staff member on maternity leave.

Solution:

Directing and capturing of FACS of selected talent. Overseeing the Facial Data Acquisition team (3D artists) ensuring their smooth output and management of daily tasks. I was required to relocate to Auckland to be available up to 3 days a week to 3D scan the talent.

Result:

Smooth running of the team, plus improvement to the efficiency of the 3D scanning pipeline.

Bonus:

This was a completely bespoke setup which had to not only be learnt, understood but also improved where possible. High quality scanning, and retaining the same scan quality standard was essential. Any improvements \strategies and findings were then documented and passed onto the returning director.
My role shifted to Wardrobe department where we improved the 3D pipeline for automation.
